About Us


SORA Clothing is an anime-inspired streetwear brand based in Toronto. We’re a creative team of people who genuinely love anime and care about how clothing looks and feels in real life.

We started the brand in 2021 because we felt that much of anime streetwear leaned toward loud, in-your-face, obvious designs that didn’t always feel wearable for people who care about style. We wanted to build clothing that reflects anime culture through intentional references, without feeling cosplay-like or out of place in everyday life.

Since launching, SORA has delivered over 78,000 orders worldwide and built a global community of millions of followers around the brand

ANIME, REIMAGINED

We approach clothing through design, creativity, and references rather than simply placing anime characters on blank garments. Our inspiration comes from anime culture itself. Its themes, emotions, references and atmosphere, which we translate into streetwear pieces made for modern life.

Every detail is intentional. From materials and construction to graphics and finishes, quality is a priority throughout the process. The goal is to create pieces that feel considered and natural to wear, while still being recognizable to people who understand
the references.

Over the years, SORA has become one of the most recognizable anime-inspired brands on Social Media, with over 1.4M followers. We’ve created multiple viral designs, influenced trends in the space, inspired creation of new anime-streetwear brands and helped shift anime fashion toward a more modern direction.

We want to build a brand that stands alongside other world-class streetwear brands, but one that brings anime culture references into the real-world landscape of global fashion.
